Clyde's Roadhouse: Your Go-To American Eatery in Walpole, MA

Clydes was highly recommended by the hotel staff. Very fun place, great environment, good food! Portions are large and dessert was fantastic, highly recommend the apple crisp if available.

We had such a great experience, we had to come back two more times. Very solid eatery. Even while extremely busy, they find time to check on you. Rachel is a top server. Would come back just for her even if I wasn't hungry. Highly recommend.

I had the pleasure of dining at Clyde’s Bar and Grill together with a friend during my stay at the hotel next door. Although from the outside it looked closed due to the windows being blocked up, it was actually open. Overall, I had a fantastic experience. I tried the pulled pork sandwich with French fries and the Reuben with onion rings—both were delicious, hearty, and cooked perfectly. The wait staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and polite, making the entire meal feel welcoming and relaxed. The atmosphere is casual yet inviting—perfect for unwinding after a long day. If I’m ever in the area again, I’d definitely return. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great food and genuinely courteous service!

My husband and I had our wedding afterparty at Clyde's this time last year (1/4/25) and it was a fantastic experience! It was so convenient being right next to the hotel our guests and us were staying at and the employees and manager were so helpful and kind in helping us book and prepare. The food was great (wings and pizza were the biggest hits) and the space we had booked for our close friends and family was perfect for what we were looking for! We really didn't get many pictures of the food or atmosphere, but highly recommend for a chill wedding afterparty experience!

Dining area is separate from the bar. Both areas are very nice and welcoming. I have been a handful of times and have had great service on both sides. Similar to a lot of authentic BBQ places they put a sheet of paper on the table. You can make a mess or food art. They provide the crayons. It can be fun to play a few rounds of tic tic-tac-toe while your food is cooking. In the past I have had the burgers, Thai chili wings, pizza and everything was really good. Tonight my daughter had Buffalo wings and a side of mac-n-cheese. That was delicious! I had the baked scrod and that was cooked just right. They also have their own line of soda with old school flavors like Raspberry Lime Rickies! Good food in a relaxed atmosphere.

I found Clyde’s because I was staying at the hotel next door. I sat at the bar and Marlo made me feel welcome right away. The bar is enclosed and feels very cozy. I had the Reuben which was delicious, on toast instead of grilled, so it was not greasy. This is a very blessed place. Marlo told me a lot of the customers are regulars and I can see why. Highly recommend!

Our favorite was there clam chowder top notch. Lots of clams lots of flavor. The other was there the corn bread fresh and tasty. Now about our server Rachel outstanding, was super busy but made sure she got back to us. Great to talk to. We were kidding around about then running out of clam chowder, so I said to since we are coming back tomorrow, save me some clam chowder. Kidding around. I'll be darn when we came back the next night. Sat down and about 5 minutes later out came the clam chowder. So Rachel gets an A ++. In my book.

We celebrated my nephew’s pre-wedding gathering and after-wedding party at Clyde’s Bar and Grill, and it truly couldn’t have been a better experience. The atmosphere was fun and welcoming, and everyone in our group had such a wonderful time. A special thank you to our server, Rachel — she was absolutely outstanding! With such a large group, she handled everything with ease, professionalism, and a fantastic attitude that made the night even more enjoyable. And a little tip for anyone going… the clam chowder is delicious — definitely a must-try! We will absolutely be back.
